HERMAN MILLER ADDS EIGHT GEIGER WOOD VENEERS TO PRODUCT LINES
Integration of High-Quality Geiger Products Supports
High-Performance Work Environments
Herman Miller, Inc., a leading global provider of innovative
office furniture and workplace consulting services, today
introduced eight Geiger veneer finishes into its product offering.
The finishes will be available across the company's Herman
Miller, Meridian, and Geiger branded product lines, and are
designed to present a consistent, company-wide, veneer offering
that supports the creation of beautiful, high-performance
work environments.
"Herman Miller has adopted the standards and processes
that have established Geiger's worldwide reputation for high-quality
wood products," said Bill Ehmann, senior product manager
at Herman Miller. "These veneer enhancements integrate
beautifully with our Textile Alliance Program fabrics and
new metallic paint finish options, and further strengthen
Herman Miller's overall CMF (colours, materials, finishes)
offering."
The eight available veneer finishes include Geiger Natural
Maple, Geiger Light Anigre, Geiger Red Cherry, and Geiger
Medium Brown Walnut. Geiger is well known for its high-quality
wood furnishings including casegoods, freestanding furniture,
and seating. Herman Miller acquired the wood specialty company
in 1999, following a long-standing sales and marketing alliance.
In addition to their aesthetic value, the Geiger veneers
offer improved compatibility between all Herman Miller systems
and freestanding products, while promoting a more effective
blending of these products within varied business environments,
from open plan to private office. "The new Geiger veneers
enrich Herman Miller's product offering, while making product
specification and integration easier for customers,"
Ehmann said.
The Geiger veneers will be available for order commencing
July 1, 2002. Further information is available thorough Herman
Miller dealers.
