Celle Receives People's Choice Award at Ergonomics Conference

Herman Miller's new Celle task chair earned a "People's Choice Award" at this year's National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE), held November 29-December 2 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The PR Newswire release from December 22, 2005 follows:

The National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE), the nation's largest business to business ergonomics event, which took place at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nov. 29-Dec. 2 featured the 2005 NECE Attendees' Choice Awards Program.
NECE attendees, who are decision makers from organizations including Boeing, BP, Eli Lilly & Co., Ford, GM, Kaiser Permanente, Lockheed Martin, and many more voted for their choice of new products offering the best opportunity to increase productivity and profitability while increasing workplace health and safety.

27 exhibiting companies entered their new products, including workplace solutions for office, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and other environments, for judging in the 2005 awards program.

This year, besides a sold out expo, the exhibit hall also featured the first-ever NECE Attendees' Choice Awards Product Pavilion. The Awards Product Pavilion offered attendees a comprehensive view of the diverse array of products vying for the 2005 awards.

The 2005 Attendees' Choice Award winners are: the ErgoGENESIS RSS2407 chair, Herman Miller's Celle seating solution, Neutral Posture's NeXtep(TM) stool footrest, and WorkRite Ergonomic's SwingArm(TM) flat panel display mount. ErgoGENESIS, Herman Miller and Neutral Posture have now won multiple Attendees' Choice Awards since the program began in 2002. Former winners also include Details a Steelcase Co., Fox Bay, Humanscale, Jupiter Sun, and Remedy Interactive.
