Herman Miller among "Most Admired" in Human Resource Attributes

Human Resource Executive magazine has recognized Herman Miller among 50 companies cited for superior human resource practices.

The list includes U.S.-based companies as well as selected non-U.S.-based companies with prominent U.S. subsidiaries. All were scored based on four HR-related attributes: People Management, Innovation, Product/Service Quality, and Management Quality. Herman Miller, which ranked 26th overall, is the only furniture manufacturer that appears on the list.

The companies were rated by the Philadelphia-based Hay Group, and drawn from Fortune magazine's 23rd annual "Most Admired Companies" list published earlier in 2005.
