Herman Miller designers applied their keen sensibilities and techniques according to their personal design philosophies to make the history of modern furniture. The outcome is recognition of Herman MIller as a leader in the design community. Several Herman Miller designs are exhibits in the permanent collections of the New York Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the Smithsonian and other leading museums.
